Dr Kari Doyle

Headteacher

Dr. Kari Doyle has worked in the field of education for over 18 years in the United States of America, Denmark, and Belgium. After completing her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, she began teaching at community colleges and soon started teaching at a secondary school level.

Dr. Doyle enjoyed challenging students during her time as an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program teacher in Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies at St. John’s International School in Waterloo. She moved to Copenhagen where she was the Principal of Viking International School, a primary school focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). She works hard to ensure students and staff learn and work in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment which allows them to discover themselves and their unique passions.

She enjoys spending time with her family, practicing Anusara yoga, and walking her two flat-coated retrievers.
